Why do we have an annual membership fee? As you may guess, a class fee, doesn't accurately reflect the cost of running a center like ours. The physical maintenance of the studio is considerable, from rent and utilities to cleaning and up-keep. The props alone represent considerable investment, as well as the ongoing publicity required to bring people to the center. Like many other yoga, dance, and exercise centers, we ask each regular attendee to help us with an annual membership to cover the above expenses. And we promise many benefits in return!
MYC has two fully equipped lyengar yoga studios in one location. Student memberships allows us to maintain and add to the centers props. Also, members pay only $17.00 drop in class, Non members pay $20.00
